WALNUT
Walnuts are nuts that are a source of magnesium, vitamin E, calcium, minerals, and trace elements. Walnuts are nutritionally interesting and are also particularly beneficial for health: they help curb appetite, support digestion, and provide energy.

PRODUCERS
We work with walnut growers from Dauphiné, who produce walnuts of 100% French origin.
Flowering/harvest
Similar to the hazel tree, the walnut tree blooms around the month of April.
Its flowers form large buds grouped together in hanging catkins a few centimeters long at the tips of the year's shoots.
The walnut harvest takes place around September-October, by shaking the walnut trees to make the ripe walnuts fall.
Manufacturing
Once on the ground, the nuts are collected and sorted to separate them from foreign matter (stones, leaves, etc.). They are then washed with water and dried to remove moisture. A second sorting is carried out to keep only the quality nuts, which will be sent to the cracking center, then to the Perl'amande site.
